The Children’s Courtyard offers high-quality early childhood education and care in beautiful home-like settings, furnished with state-of-the-art, age-appropriate learning equipment and classrooms. We have more than 60 child care schools in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin and Houston areas, serving children from six weeks to 13 years old.
Our educational philosophy is founded in the High/Scope philosophy, which states that children learn best by doing — through hands-on experiences with people, materials, events and ideas. A Whole Child Education approach teaches early literacy, logical thinking, problem solving, social understanding, physical coordination, creativity and positive character traits. Partnering with Scholastic and McGraw-Hill, the research-based curriculum at The Children’s Courtyard is tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Unique in the industry, The Children’s Courtyard Master Schools are run much like a child development lab in a university setting. Master Teachers at each age level train and mentor new teachers on the best practices learned from years of experience. Our Master Schools ensure that every classroom at The Children’s Courtyard has highly trained, committed professionals in charge.
Master Schools:
- Serve children 6 weeks to Pre-Kindergarten.
- Staff highly qualified Master Teachers who are educational experts for their age group. Children have the opportunity to learn from Master Teachers during their most formative years.
- Are smaller schools that provide more intimate child care.
- Offer special programs including dance, Kindermusik, Stretch and Grow and computer classes.
