AURORA, Ill., April 20, 2010 – Aurora Montessori (part of the Montessori Unlimited family of schools) is pleased to announce that it is hosting a community blood drive to benefit the American Red Cross. The event will take place on Friday, May 7th at the school – located at 3180 North Aurora Rd. – from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Appointments are not necessary, but are encouraged. To make an appointment or for more information, please call 1.800.GIVE.LIFE (1.800.448.3543) or visit www.givebloodgivelife.org. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license, or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with a signed consent form) and must weigh at least 110 pounds.
