Schools Open Their Doors for Infants through Pre-K Children
[NOVI, MI] — Learning Care Group (LCG), the second-largest for-profit early education and child care provider in North America, is opening its doors to children of California residents displaced or evacuated due to the wildfires in Southern California. LCG is offering a FREE day of child care for infants 6-weeks or older through Pre-K, as a reprieve for parents looking to run errands and handle tasks as they navigate this historic calamity. *Drop-ins will begin on Jan. 15 and run through Feb. 14. Those interested must confirm their date/time with their school of choice in advance.
LCG will provide a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for little ones – and will include lunch and snacks – while keeping parents and caregivers connected to their child(ren) with access to LCG’s family app, which includes live streaming video.
"California is home to more than 100 of our schools, and its families are an essential part of our community,” said Mark Bierley, CEO of Learning Care Group. “By opening our doors, we aim to provide children with a safe environment, giving families the opportunity to focus on addressing their immediate needs during this unimaginable crisis."
